This project involved the civil and hydraulic engineering design for a modern Truckline Toowoomba facility, incorporating a customer-facing retail and sales area together with a dedicated workshop for the fitment and servicing of truck parts and accessories. The development was designed to maximise operational efficiency while providing safe and practical access for customers, staff, and heavy vehicles within an established commercial precinct.

Brandon & Associates delivered a comprehensive range of services including site grading and earthworks design, building hydraulic services, roof water and site drainage design, onsite wastewater system design, vehicle manoeuvrability assessments, stakeholder consultation, and construction phase inspection and certification services. Significant engineering consideration was given to integrating the new development within the constraints of the existing site and surrounding commercial infrastructure while maintaining compliance with accessibility, parking, and service vehicle access requirements.

A key challenge of the project was managing site levels and drainage to protect adjoining properties, maintain efficient heavy vehicle access, and control stormwater runoff to downstream areas. As the site was located outside Council's reticulated sewer network, a tailored onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system was designed to suit the site's soil conditions and operational requirements. The completed facility provides Truckline Toowoomba with a modern, functional, and durable commercial premises that supports business growth while delivering safe and efficient operations for customers and staff.
