MILES CBD STREETSCAPE

This project involved the provision of Senior Superintendent services on behalf of Council for the reconstruction and enhancement of off-street parking facilities along the Warrego Highway through Miles. The works formed an important streetscape and infrastructure improvement initiative aimed at enhancing parking functionality, improving road user safety, and supporting local businesses and the broader community.

Brandon & Associates provided experienced engineering leadership throughout the construction phase, acting as Superintendent and overseeing the delivery of complex civil works including utility service relocations, pavement rehabilitation, landscaping upgrades, and highway resurfacing works. The role required close coordination between Council, contractors, utility providers, and key stakeholders to ensure the project was delivered efficiently while minimising disruption to traffic, businesses, and the travelling public.

Through proactive contract administration, construction oversight, quality assurance, and stakeholder management, the project was successfully delivered in accordance with Council's objectives and industry standards. The completed works have improved the functionality, appearance, and durability of the highway corridor, providing enhanced parking infrastructure and a more attractive and resilient public environment for the Miles community.
