EROMANGA NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM

This project involved the detailed design of external siteworks and parking facilities for the Eromanga Natural History Museum, supporting the continued growth of one of outback Queensland’s premier tourism destinations. The design focused on providing safe, convenient, and efficient access for visitors travelling by caravans, campervans, and recreational vehicles, ensuring the site could comfortably accommodate increasing visitor numbers while enhancing the overall visitor experience.

Brandon & Associates delivered the detailed engineering design of site access, manoeuvring areas, and car parking facilities, with particular emphasis on the unique operational requirements of larger recreational vehicles. Vehicle tracking and parking layouts were carefully developed to provide safe circulation, adequate turning movements, and convenient parking arrangements while maximising site functionality and maintaining accessibility for all users.

The completed design provides the Museum with a practical and future-focused infrastructure solution that supports regional tourism and visitor growth. By enhancing site accessibility and improving accommodation for caravans and campervans, the project contributes to a more welcoming and efficient visitor experience while supporting the ongoing development of this iconic outback attraction.
