YULEBA TAROOM ROAD & HORSE CREEK ROAD WIDENING

WIDENING OF A SINGLE LANE ROAD

Brandon and Associates provided Maranoa Regional Council with a full design, tender assessment and project management package for the upgrade of Yuleba Taroom Road and Horse Creek Road.

The project involved widening the existing single lane bitumen road to a two-lane sealed standard over a length of 10.1 kilometres. Key construction activities for the project included concrete floodways, installation of multicell stormwater drainage components, widening of existing stormwater structures and pavement stabilisation.

Brandon and Associates were able to successfully deliver on the scope of works and overcame a major hurdle of problems with Principal supplied gravel, without triggering construction delay costs.
