133 LOT RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION

The Pines residential subdivision involved the construction of a four-stage 133-lot residential subdivision.  This project featured major earthworks to alleviate flooding, water and sewer reticulation, sewer pump station and rising main, underground stormwater reticulation, roadworks, kerb work, channelling and landscaping.

For the project, Brandon & Associates acted as both supervisor of civil construction and superintendent of the construction contract.  We undertook tasks including contract administration, inspections, monitoring compliance reports, certification of completed works and conformance data for submission.

Liaison with local authorities, the designer, service providers, contractor and principal was an essential component of our role with this project.

Major changes to the programme were required due to revised flood height requirements, wet weather and significant service delays.  Through a proactive and solution-focused approach with the contractor, principal and client, we were able to revise processes effectively to manage changes and meet set timeframes.
