FIVE (5) NEW BUILD RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES

Bulloo Shire Council commissioned the design and construction of five new two-bedroom houses for staff accommodation in Thargomindah.  Brandon & Associates continued our long-standing relationship with Bulloo Shire Council as project managers for this project undertaking design and documentation, advertising, tender and contract documentation, analysis and award of contract to the preferred builder, contract management and administration, supervision and inspection services.

With the project being located in Thargomindah, Brandon & Associates oversaw the project remotely for the majority of the contract, although we were able to address potential issues proactively by maintaining open communication with the selected building contractors on-site.

For optimal energy efficiency, we orientated the design of the rooms in each building to limit the effects of the climate, taking into account local weather conditions and ensuring practical materials were used in construction.
